LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kamryn Hunt is representing the University of Dayton volleyball team at the national level as an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American Honorable Mention, the AVCA announced Wednesday.
The junior becomes the 18th player in program history to get an All-American Honorable Mention nod, last achieved by Lexie Almodovar in 2023.
This year's All-America selections were made by the AVCA Division I All-America Committee, and the class includes 42 players: 14 each on the first, second, and third teams, with 57 players named honorable mention.
Hunt, the 2025 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and an AVCA All-Midwest Region team selection, made her mark in her first season with the Flyers. The Sylvania, Ohio native led the way with 429 kills, crossing 1,000 career kills in October. Her 25 aces and 171 digs were both third for UD, proving her strength as a six-rotation outside hitter. Hunt was also selected to the A-10 First and All-Academic teams this season after appearing in all 106 sets for Dayton.
