INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Dayton men's cross country team started their indoor season on the track at the Midwest Classic inside the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Four freshmen made their collegiate debut for Dayton on the track both Friday and Saturday.
- On Friday, freshman Jacob Finney and Jacob Herzog both ran their first-ever indoor track event for UD and competed in the 5,000m.
- The second day of the meet saw Gerrit Dam making his debut in the mile and Logan Arnold running his first collegiate 3,000m race.
