WASHINGTON - The University of Dayton softball team has been chosen to repeat as Atlantic 10 Champions in 2025 as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. The preseason poll was voted on by the 10 league coaches.

The Flyers received 98 points in the poll with nine first-place votes. Dayton, which went 33-21 overall and 19-7 in the conference, won the regular season title and the Flyers' first conference championship title last season. Under 2024 A-10 Coach of the Year

The team is set to open the year in South Carolina at Wofford's Terrier Invite Feb. 7-9 and will close out the regular-season slate at home against Atlantic 10 foe George Mason May 3-4. Coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history, Dayton hopes to build on that momentum and earn a return trip to the NCAA DI Softball Championship.
Clark is entering her 18th season as head coach of the Dayton Flyers. With 413 wins at the helm of the Flyers program, the 2024 Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year is Dayton's all-time career wins leader. She has tallied a total of 544 victories over her 23-year head coaching career.
The 2025 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship will be hosted at George Washington Softball Field – Mount Vernon Campus May 7 -10 in Washington, D.C.
