DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team hits the road for a pair of midweek games against Mid-American Conference foes this week, taking on Ohio University at Bob Wren Stadium on Tuesday, March 18 at 4 p.m. before traveling to Bowling Green to take on the Falcons on Wednesday, March 19 at 3 p.m. at Steller Field.

Michael DiMartini has kept on rolling at the plate for the FlyBoys, hitting safely in 14 consecutive games.
- The sophomore has multiple hits in four consecutive games and has at least two hits in 11 of the last 13 games.
- DiMartini has reached base at a .521 clip and has compiled a 1.293 OPS in 20 games this season.
- The Pittsburgh, Pa. native leads the team in batting average (.430), runs scored (26), triples (3), home runs (6), RBI (22) and stolen bases (17).

Dy's Power Surge

Dyrenson Wouters hit .429 with an OPS of 1.429 in four games last week. The shortstop hit his first home run as a Flyer in a midweek against Akron and smacked another in UD's win over George Mason.
- The Aruba native finished the week with two homers and a double, four runs scored and four runs batted in.

Peguero The Ace
- Senior pitcher
Chris Peguero looked every bit the ace once again on Friday at George Mason, shutting down the Patriots over seven innings of work. The Boston, Mass. native limited the Atlantic 10's second-best offense to just two runs while scattering seven hits.
- The seven innings by Peguero was tied for the longest outing of the season for a Flyer pitcher.

Freshman Phenom
- Freshman
Rylan Lujo hit in all three of the Flyers' games at George Mason this weekend, hitting a pair of doubles and driving in four runs.
- Lujo's bases-clearing double against the Patriots blew the game wide open in UD's win. He capped the weekend with a two-hit performance.
- The Coconut Creek, Fla. native is second on the team in batting average (.363) and has reached base at a .421 clip. The Coconut Creek, Fla. native has eight doubles, two triples, 16 runs scored and 18 RBI in his rookie campaign.

Scouting Ohio
- Ohio has started the 2025 campaign 5-13 and 1-5 in the Mid-American Conference. The Bobcats most recently picked up their first MAC win of the campaign with a 15-12 victory over Central Michigan.
- Matt Ineich is the leading hitter for OU, hitting .446 on the campaign with a 1.038 OPS. Slugger Ben Slanker leads the Bobcats with seven home runs and 22 RBI.
- The pitching has a team ERA of 8.48 on the campaign.

Scouting Bowling Green
- BG has rattled off eight consecutive victories and are the only team left in the Mid-American Conference with an unblemished league mark.
- DJ Newman leads the Falcons in hitting with a .434 average on the campaign with a 1.112 OPS. Garrett Wright has a .400 average with a 1.242 OPS. Brady Birchmeier leads BG with six home runs and has an impressive .352 average.
- The Falcons have a team ERA of 5.58 on the season and are striking out 9.0 batters per nine innings.
