DAYTON – Approximately 1,400 University of Dayton undergraduates received degrees on Sunday. Among them were 92 current and former Flyer student-athletes who graduated with impressive accomplishments in the classroom and in their respective sports, and will continue that excellence in the next steps of their journey.
In addition, the senior members of the Flyer baseball and softball teams were honored in their own private ceremony on Monday following this weekend's competitions.

Alejandro Cazorla –Graduated Cum Laude. Attending grad school at UD in the School of Education
Michael Fortes – Will complete his college career next year for the Flyers
Matthew Johnson – Was injured this year, but hopes to continue his playing career next season
Jacob McGovern – Beginning training to join the Secret Service
Will Newell – Attending Georgetown University to work towards his masters in sport management
Jacob Veczko -- Will serve an internship with the Batavia Police Department in Upstate New York

Nate Santos -- – Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Received the Charles R. Kendall '29 Memorial Award of Excellence for Achievement in Academic and Athletic Effort. Plans on playing professionally. Was invited to last weekend's G League Elite Combine
Malachi Smith – Entered the transfer portal and will complete his college career at UConn
Brady Uhl - Will spend the summer traveling before finalizing his career plans

Isaac Burkart – Graduated Summa Cum Laude with University Honors in December. Working in a mechanical engineering position for Horton Emergency Vehicles in Columbus
Bryce Conley – Graduated Cum Magna Laude in December. Is currently working in Troy, Ohio
Sam Duncan – Competed as a grad student this year. Currently works for UDRI and is obtaining his Master's at UD
Connor Ewert – Graduated Cum Laude. Will pursue his master's degree in civil engineering with a concentration in water resources at UD starting this summer

Danny Baker -- Moved back to Chicago after graduating in December. Working for JPMorgan doing multi-family commercial real estate and is engaged to be married in June
Cade Beam -- Graduated Summa Cum Laude in December. Working as a financial advisor for Pathways Wealth Management in Tipp City, Ohio
Luke Brenner --Working at Carroll High School as a full time teacher. Is also helping coach track this spring and will be on the football staff in the fall
Conor Clyde -- Looking for a finance position in Chicago
Ca'ron Coleman – Will pursue a career in strength and conditioning
Jake Coleman -- Going to Ohio University graduate school to get his MBA/MSA
Mitchell Colter – Co-winner of the Communication Chair's Award for Outstanding Achievement. In the hiring process for a position with the Department of Homeland Security
Dylan Davidson -- Graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dylan DeMaison -- Graduated Magna Cum Laude in December. Working for Jedson Engineering in Cincinnati as a mechanical engineer
Logan Foody -- Attending Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville to get his master's in clinical mental health counseling
Nate Hess -- Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Moving back home to Wisconsin and work for a year while interviewing for dental schools in the fall
Cole Hildebrand – Has joined the coaching staff at Michigan State as a graduate quality control analyst
Chase Holmes – Entered the transfer portal and will complete his college career as a grad transfer
Ryan Iiams – Returning to the team next fall to complete his college career. Was selected to be a team captain
Jeremy Jonozzo – Graduated Summa Cum Laude with University Honors. Will complete the University of Dayton Master's of Professional Accountancy Program in December
Colin Koennecke – Returning back home to Cleveland to work towards earning his CPA. Will begin a position as an audit staff member with Plante Moran in August
Dan Kowaleski -- Working as a process engineer for ADM, in Lincoln , Neb.
David Maurer – Graduated last December and will be returning to the team in the fall while pursuing his MBA
Aiden McKinley -- Moving back to Louisville where he has accepted a full-time position at TEKsystems as a Sales Development Representative starting in June
Logan Miller – Graduated Cum Laude. Has accepted a position as a Project Engineer for Shook Construction. First assignment will be working on site at the Wagram Road Wastewater Treatment Center in Etna, Ohio
Jadyn Nirschl – Returning to the team in the fall while completing his master's in biology
Kevin Roberts – Going back home to Columbus and working for CK Construction as a Project Engineer
Jack Wardzala -- Graduated Cum Laude in December. Coaching at UD and also working in the area as a graphic designer
Austin Yeager -- Graduated Cum Laude. Returning to UD in the fall to pursue a masters in mechanical engineering while playing his final season of football

Megan Yoder – Graduated Summa Cum Laude. Received the Award of Excellence to the Senior Majoring in Entrepreneurship Who Best Exemplifies Outstanding Academic Achievement. Has accepted a position with at Ernst & Young in Indianapolis
Rowing
Laura Boesch – Attending graduate school, studying to become a dietitian in Madonna University's Nutrition and Wellness program
Gabriela Gomez Gomez – Will take one more class online next semester for her teaching license while substitute teaching back home in Virginia. Will also become a novice coach for the rowing team for alma mater, Battlefield High School
Caitlin O'Loughlin -- Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Moving back to the Chicago suburbs and hoping to get an elementary teaching position
Paige Sherlock -- Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Remaining at UD to pursue her master's in aerospace engineering. Will be conducting research on heat exchangers onboard aircraft at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
Colleen Stumbris – Will graduate in December, and then seek a job in the energy sector
Bailey Vogel -- Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Co-winner of the James B. LaVanche Award of Excellence to the Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Graduating in the Department of Health and Sport Science. Beginning the University of Dayton's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the fall
Emily Walker – Graduated Summa Cum Laude. The environmental biology major will gain some professional experience before enrolling in grad school

Dario Caetano – Is returning to the U.S. to be a graduate assistant at the Division III level
Geni Kanyane – Was drafted by the Chicago Fire in the third round of the MLS SuperDraft
Joseph Melto Quiah – Signed an MLS NEXT Pro contract with Toronto FC II after being drafted in the third round of the MLS SuperDraft
Ethan Sassine – Returning to UD to complete his college career
Hjalti Sigurdsson – Playing professionally in Iceland. During the off-season, will work with an engineering firm

Women's Track & Field/Cross Country
Casey Bogues – Graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2023. After earning her master's this semester, she will work in the Mad River Local School District as a 5th and 6th grade Intervention Specialist, and will also compete at the national level as a javelin thrower post-collegiately
Rayana Burns – Currently enrolled in grad school at UD. Will be on the track team's coaching staff next year as a graduate assistant
Anna Kessler – Graduated Summa Cum Laude. Plans to work in politics
Jayla Pruitt – Received the Nancy Bramlage Award, presented by Campus Ministry's Center for Social Concern, to a Deserving Student or Student Group that have most Effectively used Nonviolent Direct Action to Work for Change. Has accepted a full-time position as a Field Service Engineer at Eaton in Michigan. Will pursue a dual master's degree part-time while working full-time, in electrical engineering and education
Justine Smith – Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Will move to Columbus to work and eventually attend grad school
Volleyball
Lexie Almodovar – Will continue playing professionally next year after playing in Turkey this winter
Alyssa Miller -- Pursuing her graduate degree in business analytics
Brooke Nichols – Will remain in Dayton and work at a veterinary clinic
Taylor Russell – Graduated Magna Cum Laude. Returning to play for the Flyers next season while pursuing her master's in accounting

Alayna Yates – Earned her master's in communications in December. Currently working for WHIO-TV as a digital content producer and doing some freelance writing for other publications while looking for career opportunities in sports communications
