#FlyBoys Sophomore Michael DiMartini Named ABCA All-East Region First Team

The Pittsburgh Native Turned In The Best Offensive Season In Program History

GREENSBORO, N.C. (ABCA) – University of Dayton baseball sophomore Michael DiMartini was named to the 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-East Region First Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
 
The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. I All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. DiMartini is now eligible for the organization's All-American honor.
 
DiMartini had the best offensive season in Dayton baseball history in 2025, hitting .403 with a 1.150 OPS, 14 home runs, 11 doubles, seven triples, 37 stolen bases and 65 RBI. Not only did his stolen base total set a new program record, but DiMartini also set new marks for hits (96) and runs scored (69). The Pittsburgh, Pa. native also earned a spot on the All-Atlantic 10 first team in his first season as a Flyer.
 
The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I All-America teams will be announced the morning of Friday, June 13 prior to the start of the 2025 NCAA Div. I College World Series in Omaha, Neb. First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.
