LOUISVILLE, Ky. -  University of Dayton track and field competed at the PNC Leny Lyles Invitational in Louisville on Friday and Saturday. The Flyers set 24 new personal bests and set two school records over the course of the weekend at the highly competitive meet. 

Highlights

• Senior Raegan Ernst set the school record in the pentathlon with a total of 3671 points, which was enough for her to finish second. She set PRs in the 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump, and 800m on her way to the record. 
• The 4x400m team of Junior Mariya Washington, Junior Sydney Workman, Senior Lianna Shakoor, and Freshman Simone Bessong ran 3:49.68 to set a new program record. 
• Workman finished second in the C division of the 400m in a personal best time of 57.29, a top ten time in the conference this season. 
• Senior Jadyn Haywood ran 7.54 in the 60m prelims to qualify for the final, where she ran 7.51 to finish fifth overall. 
• Haywood also finished seventh in the 200m with a time of 24.16.
