DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team will open the 2026 Atlantic 10 conference schedule with a road series against Saint Louis on March 13-15.
The games on March 13 and 15 will be on ESPN+.
LAST TIME OUT
The FlyBoys fell to Bowling Green on Tuesday, dropping the home game 9-5.
Bobby Stang hit a two-run home run. The FlyBoys stole four bases against the Falcons. The Dayton pitching staff combined for 11 strikeouts, including six for Niklas Pavia.
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis is 7-10 overall, coming up short against Illinois State in a home game on Tuesday. The Billikens were picked third in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll.
Riley Iffrig leads SLU with a .295 batting average and 11 runs scored. Noah Andrunas has pitched 22.1 innings for the Billikens, striking out 12 batters in his four appearances this season. On the base path, Saint Louis has 13 steals this season.
LAST MEETING
Dayton is 16-29 against the Billikens. Last season, the Flyers went 1-2 in a home series.
Dyrenson Wouters scored two runs in the FlyBoys' win in the final game of the series. Lukasz Rondeau got credited for the save, striking out two batters and allowing just one hit.
DAYTON AT DAY AIR
UD and the Dayton Dragons announced on Tuesday that the FlyBoys will host Wright State at Day Air Ballpark on April 15. Tickets can be purchased here, and students can claim free tickets here.
This will be Dayton's sixth consecutive game at Day Air. 2023's game against the Raiders set an attendance record for the FlyBoys of 6,743 attendees.
