OXFORD, Ohio – The University of Dayton track and field team began its 2026 outdoor season at the Blizzard Buster, hosted by Miami University on Friday. The Flyers started the season strong, setting 38 new personal bests, including 17 collegiate and UD debuts. They also earned 21 top-five finishes and five individual victories. 
 
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior Raegan Ernst continued her momentum from a strong indoor season, winning the 100m hurdles in a personal best of 14.24, which ties her for second in program history.
• Junior Mariya Washington earned her first victory of the season in the 400m hurdles, running 57.71.
• Sophomore Jameson Pillifant won the 400m hurdles in a time of 1:02.38.
• Junior Sydney Workman set a big PR in the 200m of 24.40 as she won the event.
• Senior Jailee Clemmons made her return from a year-long injury with a PR performance in the long jump as she finished second with a mark of 5.35m. Sophomore Charlotte Deines was right behind in third at 5.31m.
• Senior Marissa Pritchett ran a PR of 10:10.85 in the 3000m to finish second.
• Senior Rebekah Conrad opened her outdoor season with a win in the hammer throw, throwing a PR mark of 52.30m. Three total Flyers would finish in the top five of the event as Maggie Hofner and Jillian Yates finished third and fifth, respectively.
• In the high jump, A-10 indoor champion Camryn Thompson opened up her outdoor campaign with a second-place finish and a mark of 1.62m.
