WASHINGTON - University of Dayton softball freshman
Soseh Broglin has been named the Atlantic 10 Under Armour Softball Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office for games played April 6-12.
Loyola Chicago's Nat Lesnicki was named Player of the Week while George Washington's Cece Smith was named Pitcher of the Week.
Broglin appeared in four of the Flyers' five games, making two appearances in the circle and three in the field. The freshman from Farmington Hills, Mich., went 3-for-5 at the plate over the course of the week, driving in a pair of runs on a double down the line in Sunday's series finale.
UP NEXT
Dayton will head to the Gateway City next weekend to take on the Saint Louis Billikens. UD and SLU will play a three-game conference series April 18-19 at Billiken Sports Center.
