WASHINGTON, D.C. – University of Dayton baseball's second baseman, Danny MacDougall, was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the final week of the season, the conference announced.
The graduate student ends the season with a pair of conference weekly awards, first earning Player of the Week on Feb. 24.
In the final week of the season, MacDougall paced the FlyBoys with a .444/.450/1.333 slash line with a double and five home runs against Notre Dame and George Washington. The double against the Revolutionaries marked 24 doubles on the season, setting the UD single-season record. He totaled eight RBIs and 10 runs scored, setting the single-season record in runs scored as well.
The Taunton, Mass. native also went 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.
At second base, MacDougall totaled nine putouts and 11 assists.
