Sept. 18, 2007
A pair of University of Dayton athletics programs will take on one of their rivals on Friday at home and fans can see both contests for one low admission.
The No. 18 ranked volleyball team will play host to Saint Louis at Frericks Center with first serve scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. UD will be looking for revenge as SLU beat the Flyers in last year's Atlantic 10 Championship Match, also played at Frericks Center. Dayton is off its best start in school history at 13-0 while also holding the most wins of any undefeated team in the nation.
Also, the Flyer women's soccer team will play host to rival Xavier in the A-10 opener for both teams at 7:30 p.m. ET. UD is off to a 5-2-0 start including three different double-overtime victories this season. Dayton won each of its matches this past weekend in extra time with a 3-2 victory over Minnesota and a 2-1 win over Iowa State. The Flyers are looking to improve upon a 18-9-2 all-time record against the Musketeers.
One ticket is good for both venues which are located next to each other on UD's campus. Ticket prices are only $5 for adults and $3 for children with group rates available. A Flyer Fall Sports Pass allows admission for all men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball matches for only $60. Also, youth in 8th grade or younger receive FREE admission with a Future Flyer Kids Club membership. For more information, please contact the UD Athletics Ticket Office at (937) 229-4433.
University of Dayton undergraduate students receive FREE admission to all volleyball and soccer matches. Those students wishing to receive credit for attendance towards Red Scare points can do so by having a Valid Student ID swiped at either event. Red Scare representatives will be available in the Frericks Lobby (front entrance) for volleyball and at the Field Level Tent for soccer. Each student only needs to get swiped once for credit at both events.
