Dayton looks to continue its run at a berth in the Atlantic 10 Conference Baseball Championships in a three-game Atlantic 10 Conference road series at George Washington this weekend. UD and GW will square off Friday (3 p.m. ET), Saturday (1 p.m. ET) and Sunday (Noon ET) in games that can be followed with Gametracker at www.DaytonFlyers.com.

UD enters the series with the third best overall winning percentage in the Atlantic 10 (.543) despite getting off to a 4-8 start in conference play. The Flyers enter just two games back from the trio of George Washington, Rhode Island and richmond for the sixth and final postseason berth in the A-10. Dayton lost two of three games earlier this season to the Rams and after playing the Colonials this weekend will return home to play host to the Spiders next weekend at Time Warner Cable Stadium.

Marshall MacDonald looks to continue his strong play at the plate this weekend for the Flyers. He enters the weekend with a nine-game hitting streak and five home runs in his last six games including a multi-homer effort in the series opener against Saint Joseph's. The reigning A-10 Player of the Week has hit .382 over the past nine games while slugging at a .853 rate to score nine runs and collect 11 RBI. Six of his 13 hits have gone for extra bases during the same stretch.

Dayton holds the sixth best team on-base percentage in the Atlantic 10 Conference (.376) and has used 30 sacrifice bunts and 20 sacrifice flies to move and then score the base runners. UD is second in the A-10 in sacrifice bunts and sacrifice flies while ranking fourth in the nation in times hit by pitch with an outstanding 73 in just 35 games played.

The Flyers will also welcome the opportunity to play three conference games in three consecutive days for just the second time this season. UD opened its conference schedule with a Sat.-Mon. series against Xavier before being forced to play three consecutive Saturday doubleheaders against Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph's. Dayton has been a combined 3-3 in the six games played over the past three Saturday afternoons.
