Falcon Heights, MN - Dayton finished 16th overall in the men's gold portion of the Roy Griak Cross Country Inviational on Saturday afternoon at the University of Minnesota. Sophomore Chris Lemon led the team for the second time this season at the 23rd annual event, which is held at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn.

Lemon, who posted the best 8K time for the Flyers thus far, claimed 31st overall.

Crossing the finish line next was redshirt junior Mike Andersen (60th, 25:32.5), who scored for the the third straight meet. Andersen's time was just good enough to hold off sophomore Matt Lemon, who came in right on his heels in 25:32.7 to claim 61st overall.

Running defensively for the Flyers was freshman Cory McGoldrick (158th, 28:09) and sophomore Ryan Shirley (161st, 28:21).

The men's cross country squad will now get a one week breather before heading to Delaware, Oh. to take part in the All-Ohio Championships. Race time is scheduled for 2 p.m. EST.
