DAYTON, Ohio - Coming off of a momentous win over the Northwestern Wildcats, the University of Dayton Flyers handed the Towson Tigers the first loss of their season, winning 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-17).

Becky Novacek led the Flyers in the win with a .500 attack percentage. Novacek was 14-of-24 from the floor with one block assist.

Nicole Bateman had 35 digs in the win, she also added one service ace. Erin Schroeder racked up 42 assists and 10 digs for a double-double on the day.
