The University of Dayton finished in the Top 30 in men's basketball attendance for the 13th straight season in 2009-10, according to a report by the NCAA released Wednesday.
The Flyers finished 28th in the NCAA in attendance with an average of 12,259 fans a game, after averaging 12,765 a year ago. Since UD Arena opened in 1969, Dayton has been in the NCAA`s top 35 in attendance every season.
The Flyers led the Atlantic 10 in attendance for the 13th straight season. UD averaged more than 2,100 fans a game better than any other team in the conference. In conference games only, Dayton averaged 13,031.
UD Arena has 96 sellouts in its 40-year history. UD's last 169 regular season home games have had attendance of at least 11,000 fans. In the last 15 years, 99 percent of UD's home games have drawn at least 10,000 (407 of 411), including the last 206 regular season games.

A First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection, Wright averaged 13.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in leading the Flyers to a 25-12 overall record. UD’s team MVP and a First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection, Wright also led the team in minutes (28.6), dunks (a school-record 68), blocked shots (a school-record 53), free throws attempted (185) and free throws made (125). He led UD with 29 double-figure games in 2009-10.
Johnson was second to Wright on the team in scoring (11.9) and rebounding (6.9) and led UD in FT% (.848, 84-99). He averaged 14.8 points and 8.4 rebounds in the NIT, and was the Atlantic 10’s Chris Daniels Memorial Most Improved Player Award winner in 2010.
