DAYTON – The University of Dayton and the University of Virginia have announced a neutral-site showdown for the upcoming 2025-26 men's basketball campaign, as the two will meet in Charlotte, N.C. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Spectrum Center.
Tip time and television information will be announced later.
Dayton and Virginia have played three times in program history, most recently at the 2018 Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis, where the No. 4-ranked Cavaliers topped the Flyers 66-59.
With the addition of Virginia, Dayton now has two games against ACC opponents this season and the potential of another. The Flyers take on Florida State at home on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at UD Arena and could also face Miami (Fla.) in the ESPN Events Invitational.
