KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Dayton men's basketball players
Nate Santos and
Atticus Schuler were both named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2024-25 NABC Honors Court the organization announced last week.
The NABC Honors Court was created to recognize academic achievement at all levels of men's college basketball. To be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better.
Santos was Second Team All-Atlantic 10, Academic All-A-10, and Academic All-District this season, and was named the 2025 White Allen Most Valuable Player. The Geneva, Ill. native started all 34 Flyers games in 2024-25, leading the team in scoring (14.3) while also pulling down a second-best 5.6 rebounds per contest in 2023-24. A communication major, Santos was the recipient of the Charles R. Kendall Award for Athletic and Academic Achievement, as well as a Dayton All-Academic Team and 4.0 Flyers Award honoree.
Schuler played in five games for the Flyers in 2024-25, scoring three points and grabbing three rebounds. The Westerville, Ohio native majored in finance and is a three-time member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
