DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton has announced men’s basketball game times for the 2011-12 regular season. The Flyers will play 16 of the 27 games that have been determined at 7 p.m. ET.
The only game times that are yet to be finalized are the final two rounds of the Old Spice Classic tournament, and the Dayton at Saint Louis game on Saturday, Feb. 4.
UD returns three starters (including preseason All-Atlantic 10 selection Chris Johnson) from last year’s 22-14 team that reached the championship game of the Atlantic 10 tournament. The Flyers reached the post-season for the fourth consecutive season, playing in the NIT.
Dayton opens the 2011-12 season at home against Western Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. ET. Before that, the Flyer Faithful will have three opportunities to see the team in action. The annual Red & Blue scrimmage game is this Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. ET. UD’s two exhibition games are against Walsh (Saturday, Oct. 29, 4 p.m. ET) and Findlay (Saturday, Nov. 5, 7 p.m. ET).
The Flyers’ local and regional television packages on WHIO-TV and Fox Sports Ohio will be released when they are complete.
