#UDXC Announces 2025 Schedule

Dayton Will Host The 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships

DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's and women's cross country teams have announced their fall 2025 schedule, featuring seven meets, including hosting the Atlantic 10 Championships for the third time in five years. This year's conference meet will take place at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in Cedarville, Ohio.

The season begins on Friday, August 29, at the RedHawk Rumble, hosted by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Both the men's and women's teams will compete in a 5K race.

On September 19, the Flyers head to Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the George Dales Invitational. The women will run a 6K and the men will compete in an 8K.

Next, Dayton travels to Louisville, Kentucky, for the Louisville Classic on Saturday, October 4, hosted by the Louisville Sports Commission.

UDXC will race again on Friday, October 17, at the Bradley Pink Invitational in Peoria, Illinois. Hosted by Bradley University, the meet will feature a 6K for the women and an 8K for the men.

Dayton wraps up the regular season at the Wild Bill Invitational on Friday, October 24, hosted by Wright State University. The meet will be held at Fairborn Community Park, just a short trip across town.

The Flyers will remain in the Miami Valley on Saturday, November 1, when they host the Atlantic 10 Championships in Cedarville. This marks the third time Dayton has hosted the conference meet and comes during the A-10's celebration of its 50th anniversary.

Postseason competition continues on Friday, November 14, at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, hosted by the Evansville Sports Commission at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Indiana.

Head coach David Dobson is optimistic about the season ahead.

"I am feeling excited about the 2025 campaign, and I believe the schedule prepares our athletes for the races in November that we all aspire to run at their best," Dobson said. "Specifically, the chance to host the A-10 Championship for the third time in the past five years is an opportunity we embrace and are thankful to enjoy."
