Final Results
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Dayton track and field team turned in a number of gritty performances on Friday at the Cardinal Twilight. The Flyers had six perform in the meet in hopes of earning a bid into the NCAA Prelims on May 24-26 in Jacksonville, Fla.
“We had a good meet,” University of Dayton head coach
Jason Francis said. “We gained a lot of valuable experience competing after conference, but we will have to wait and see on Thursday if we were able to place anyone in the NCAA Preliminary Round.”
Noelle Tazioli placed first in the prelims for the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.07. In the 200 meter dash, Tazioli had a time of 24.75.
Lizzie Gleason had a time of 10:59.12 in the steeplechase, finishing in second place. Aly Weeman finished eighth in the hammer with a distance of 176-09.
Ashley DeMange led a trio of Flyers in the pole vault. DeMange placed eighth with a height of 11-05.75. Hanna Krizmanic was ninth with a height of 11-05.75. Sarah Gaskell was 11th with a mark of 10-11.75.
