DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's soccer team (6-1) is ranked 35th in the latest Top Drawer Soccer Men's College Soccer Rankings. The men's soccer team was also ranked 30th by College Soccer News on Monday.
Top Drawer's Top 48 Rankings are based on the projected postseason tournament qualifiers for the Div. I Men's Soccer Championship. It is the first appearance for the Flyers in Top Drawer and College Soccer News ranking this season. UD was previously receiving votes in the College Soccer News poll. They were also ranked 23rd by Soccer America last week.
UD swept its matches over the weekend, with a 2-1 overtime thriller against Gardner-Webb and a 4-1 win over IPFW.
The Flyers have one of the most potent offenses in college soccer. They average 2.86 goals per game and are tied for eighth in the nation in scoring.
Dayton travels to No. 22 SIUE on Saturday for an 8 p.m. ET match.
