Tony Vittorio announced the 2013 baseball schedule on Thursday.
The Flyers will look to defend their Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship as they face a tough conference and non-conference schedule. The season is set to begin on Friday,  Feb. 15 in Boiling Springs, N.C. as Dayton takes on Gardner-Webb. After two road trips to open the season, the Flyers host their home opener on Feb. 26 against Bowling Green at Woerner Field in Dayton.
Non-conference series against Wofford and Bowling Green join home tournaments involving Bradley, Bryant, Wright State, Buffalo, and Oakland in February and March. Dayton begins Atlantic 10 play on Feb. 22, 23 and 24th at home when the Flyers welcome the 2012 regular season champions Saint Louis.
The Flyers travel to Rhode Island, Xavier, St. Bonaventure, and Charlotte for conference road series, while hosting Butler, VCU, and George Washington at home. Non-conference games against Baldwin-Wallace, Toledo, IPFW, Cincinnati, Wright State, Miami, Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, and Furman fill out the rest of the schedule.
Dayton wraps-up the regular season on May 16,17 and 18th against Furman down in Greenville, S.C.
