JAMES AND O'MALLEY NAMED TO TOP 100 FRESHMAN LIST

Women's Soccer Has Two On TopDrawerSoccer.com Mid-Season List

University of Dayton women's soccer players Erin O'Malley and Elizabeth James have been named to the 2013 TopDrawerSoccer.com midseason Top 100 freshman list. The Flyers are 9-4-1 overall this season with an undefeated 4-0-0 start in Atlantic 10 conference play. O'Malley and James have played a critical role in the starting lineup which has contributed to the Flyers' success this season. 

O'Malley is a defender out of West Chester, Pa. who has started all 14 games so far this season. She scored her first collegiate goal of her career against FIU on Sept. 13. O'Malley has has been key to the team's eight shutouts over the course of the season. According to TopDrawerSoccer.com, O'Malley ranks 53rd among all freshmen.

James is a goalkeeper out of Columbus, Ind. who has started all 14 games so far for the Flyers. She leads the A-10 in save percentage (.851) and shutouts (7), has twice been named A-10 Rookie of the Week and was just named NSCAA D-I Women's Soccer Player of the Week. According to TopDrawerSoccer.com, James ranks 67th among all freshmen.

Dayton hosts the Saint Louis Billikens at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Baujan Field.
