DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's basketball team has been ranked in either the AP Top 25 or USA Today Coaches' Polls for 21 consecutive weeks.
In the latest polls the Flyers are receiving votes in the AP, and are right outside the Top 25, and are No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.
Dayton was ranked No. 14 in the AP Top 25 preseason poll and No. 16 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. The Flyers dropped four spots in the AP and three spots in the Coaches' poll after an overtime loss to #21/19 Michigan State Nov. 17.
Last year, UD was ranked as high as No. 11 in both polls, a program record.
This Sunday, Nov. 24 Dayton (2-2) takes on Vanderbilt (3-1), a team that was ranked in both preseason polls, and is now receiving votes in both. Tip is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET in Nashville.
