Box Score
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Dayton baseball team lost its second game of the Mule Mix Classic in Tennessee this weekend, by a score of 12-3 to Lipscomb.

The Flyers dropped the opener of the tournament to Middle Tennessee on Friday and looked to rebound against Lipscomb on Saturday.

Lipscomb got the lead back in the bottom of the second with a single run, breaking the tie, 4-3.

The Bisons pushed their advantage to five at 8-3 with four more runs in the third. A single run in the fourth and three more in the sixth made it a 12-3 ball game in Lipscomb's favor.

In the end, the Bison offense proved to be too much for the Flyers as Dayton fell, 12-3.

Starting pitcher Joe Wahl (0-2) allowed seven runs on six hits in 2 2/3 innings, suffering the loss for Dayton. Relievers Tommy Konrad had two shutout innings in relief while Nate Harris threw shutout inning out of the bullpen.
