DAYTON MEN RUN WELL AT CEDARVILLE INVITATIONAL

Several Flyers Ran Personal Best Times

CEDARVILLE, Ohio –The University of Dayton men's cross country team competed well at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Track and Field Invitational Friday evening.
 
In the one-mile run, freshman Kyle Lach took third place and set a personal best time of 4:26.

In the 3,000-meter run three Flyers ran personal bests and also scored points. Senior Tyler Roeth took third-place points (6) in a time of 8:51.69, junior Michael Russell finished with fifth-place points (4) in 8:57.75 and freshman Michael Tymoski picked up four points for sixth place in 9:10.14.
 
In the 5,000-meter run sophomore Matt Krakora took eighth-place points (1) in a time of 16:20.83.

Dayton's distance medley relay team of freshman Ethan Louis, Tymoski, Roeth and Lach took fourth place in a time of 11:00.14 and racked up five points for UD.

The Flyers are back in action Saturday, Feb. 22 when they compete in the Kent State Tune-Up Indoor Track and Field Invitational. The event starts at 10 a.m.
