Box Score DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball team ended the regular season on Saturday with a 2-1 win over George Mason, sending the seniors off in style with the victory.
Before the game Sunday, the University of Dayton recognized the achievements of the 2014 senior class with a ceremony honoring the student-athletes. The Flyers have 10 seniors this year, including multiple four-year players.

George Mason to put a run on the board in the second after loading the bases with no outs, but Dayton prevented any further scoring.
The Flyers tied the game up at 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth when junior
Alex Harris scored on a Patriot error.
In the bottom of the seventh, Dayton took its first lead of the game with a solo home run by junior
Sergio Plasencia, his second of the season. That put the Flyers on top, 2-1.
The UD bullpen held on to that slim lead and held George Mason in check for the rest of the contest.
In the end, Dayton recorded a 2-1 win over the Patriots, giving the seniors one last victory at Woerner Field.
