The Jasper, Ind. native recorded a 3-2 record in the regular season with 10 appearances, five starts, and 19 strikeouts in 38 2/3 innings. As a designated hitter, Gobert had a couple of hits, including a double, and an RBI. He is expected to be an important part of the Dayton pitching staff in future years.
Jones started off the season as a substitute, but quickly cemented himself in the starting line-up while playing right field. Coming to the Flyers from Indianapolis, the redshirt freshman has played in 40 games, making 28 starts, and recording 99 at-bats.
