SENIOR TESTIMONIAL SERIES: VICTOR DURU

The second video of the University of Dayton men's soccer senior testimonial series features former Flyer midfielder Victor Duru.

Duru is a native of Powder Springs, Ga. and was an integral member of one of the most productive midfields in college soccer. He spent four years in the Flyer program and epitomized what it meant to be a team player.

The Hillgrove High School standout appeared in 50 career games at Dayton, including 11 starts in 2013. Last season was one of the most successful in program history while Duru contributed nearly 500 minutes of play on the wing. He even chipped in an assist in the 4-2 win over IPFW on Sept. 1. Throughout his Flyer career, Duru scored five goals, added two assists, and had a pair of game winners. He will leave Dayton as a great example of what it means to be a talented player that remains loyal to the program's mission, and what it means to compete at a high level as a selfless teammate.

This is the second video of seven in the series, following John Howe from last week. Next week, we have an interview with Brian Alvarez.
