DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team played four sets Saturday night in the team's annual Red-Blue Scrimmage. The Flyers got their first taste of game action in preparation for kicking off the 2014 season next weekend at the Bowling Green Hampton Inn Invitational Aug. 29-30.

"Tonight was a perfect chance for everyone to get back into the flow of the match-day routine," commented head coach Tim Horsmon. "We are looking forward to getting across the net from someone other than each other. Next weekend will be exciting for us and we're all looking forward to it."

Dayton will square off against Pittsburgh, Middle Tennessee and the host Falcons in Bowling Green, Ohio, at BGSU's Stroh Center.
