DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's cross country team will head south to Mason, Ohio Friday for the 33
rd- annual Queen City Invitational.
"Friday will be a great competition and we are looking forward to competing against these programs," said Head Coach
Sarah Haveman. "We have a very close spread right now among the team so it will be interesting to see how everyone competes and responds. I have been very impressed with the team and am looking forward to racing close to our full roster. Everyone has been putting the work in and this weekend will set the tone to continue to improve throughout the season."
Northern Kentucky University will host the 5K meet, which will be held at Kingswood Park in Mason, Ohio.
The women's race is scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m.
The Flyers are coming off a strong showing at their home meet, the Flyer 5K, this past weekend. Dayton finished third and had numerous runners in the Top 40. The Flyers will be at full strength this weekend and will be looking to improve on their opening performance.
