NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -  University of Dayton redshirt senior guard Jordan Sibert earned the Atlantic 10's Co-Player of the Week after leading the Flyers to a pair of road victories.

Sibert led the Flyers in scoring (18.0), minutes (36.0) and steals (4). He shot .560 from the field and hit 6-of-15 shots (.400) from beyond the arc.

On the season, Sibert ranks ninth in the A-10 in scoring (16.0 ppg), fifth in free throw percentage (.797) and sixth in threes made (2.5).

He leads Dayton in scoring, minutes per game (32.3) and ranks second on the team in free throw shooting. Sibert has scored in double-figures in the last 13 games.

It is Dayton's first A-10 Player of the Week award since Kevin Dillard received the honor on Dec. 10, 2012. Sibert shared the honors with EC Matthews from Rhode Island.

Dayton is 13-2 overall and 3-0 in the Atlantic 10.

The Flyers seek their seventh consecutive victory as UD hosts the La Salle Explorers on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
