DAYTON -- The University of Dayton women's basketball team showed great promise for the season at the Red-Blue game at UD Arena this afternoon. The Flyers look to build on the success of last season that ended with a trip to the Elite 8.  Red edged Blue 46-43 in the 24-minute scrimmage.
Key Stats
• Flyers soared at the stripe going 94% (15/16) from the free-throw line.
• The four Flyer freshman combined for 19 points.
• 
Jenna Burdette led all scoring for the Flyers with 15 points going 5-6 from the floor and 5-5 from the free-throw line.
• The two teams combined for 16 second-chance points coming off of 13 offensive rebounds.
