FORMER FLYER CHRIS ROLFE EXCELLING IN MLS PLAYOFFS

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Former University of Dayton men's soccer player and current professional player Chris Rolfe is continuing his excellent year deep into the postseason.

The striker is currently playing for D.C. United in the MLS Playoffs as his squad battles the New York Red Bulls for a spot in the Eastern Conference finals. The Red Bulls have a game in hand in the two-game series.

In the opening round of the MLS Playoffs, Rolfe scored the winning goal, helping D.C. United advance past the New England Revolution. This season, he racked-up 11 goals, 15th most in the league.

Not only is the former Flyer excelling on the field, but he has also returned to school, taking online classes at none other than the University of Dayton.
