DAYTON, Ohio – Head Coach
Mike Tucker announced that Quincy Kellett has signed to play for the University of Dayton women's soccer team.
Kellett, of Bristol, Ill., played four seasons at Rosary High School where she holds the career record for goals scored (94) and led the Royal to back-to-back regional championships in 2013 and 2014.
"Quincy possesses great speed and quickness and an attacking mentality. She is very athletic and capable of scoring goals at any time," said Tucker. "As a wide attacking player she will be a threat to get behind defenses and we expect her to develop very quickly."
She is a two-time Suburban Christian Conference Player of the Year and led Rosary to a conference title in 2013. Kellett was named SCC All-Conference four consecutive seasons, including First Team in 2015, to go along with her First Team All-Section honors.
A team captain this year, Kellett was also named a 2014-15 Scholar Athlete. She played club soccer for Team Chicago and competed in the 2014 Brøndy Cup in Denmark, leading her team to a runner-up finish.
In addition to playing soccer, Kellett was a three-time, all-conference selection basketball player for Rosary and was her team's 2014-15 MVP.
She was also the 2011 U.S. Girls Wrestling Association national champion.
