DAYTON, Ohio -Â The University of Dayton women's soccer team lost its last spring game of the 2016 season to Northern Kentucky, a 5-2 decision.
Kaelyn Johns played the first half in goal for Dayton, keeping the score tied 0-0 at halftime.
Both of the Flyer goals were scored on headers. The first goal for Dayton was scored by
Libby Leedom off of a corner from Sidney Leroy. Later in the game,
Quincy Kellett assisted to
Erin O'Malley to finish the scoring for the Flyers.
Dayton finished the spring season with a 3-1 record, scoring 15 goals while only allowing six goals in four games.
The Flyers begin the 2016 fall season with an exhibition game at Marshall on August 12
. Dayton's return to Baujan Field will be August 26 against Bucknell.
