#UDWSOC FALLS TO NKU 5-2 IN SPRING FINALE

Libby Leedom and Erin O'Malley Scored Goals For Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's soccer team lost its last spring game of the 2016 season to Northern Kentucky, a 5-2 decision.

Kaelyn Johns played the first half in goal for Dayton, keeping the score tied 0-0 at halftime.

Both of the Flyer goals were scored on headers. The first goal for Dayton was scored by Libby Leedom off of a corner from Sidney Leroy. Later in the game, Quincy Kellett assisted to Erin O'Malley to finish the scoring for the Flyers.

Dayton finished the spring season with a 3-1 record, scoring 15 goals while only allowing six goals in four games.

The Flyers begin the 2016 fall season with an exhibition game at Marshall on August 12. Dayton's return to Baujan Field will be August 26 against Bucknell.
