COACH'S COMMENTS
"We had a fantastic weekend of racing at the SPIRE Invitational," said head coach
Jason Ordway. "We were competitive with big Division I programs from across the country from the mile to the 5000m. The guys showed tremendous poise and executed the team strategy to near perfection. It was very nice to finish the indoor season with an exclamation point. Danielson and Negri really came through with big record setting performances. Flavin set a freshman record for the 5000m with a sub-15 performance in his debut, and the rest of the team demonstrated our depth across a variety of distances. It was a great day to be a Flyer."
UP NEXT
The indoor season is complete for Dayton with the next meet coming outdoors on March 18 at the Stan Lyons Invite, hosted by Butler University.
