NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – University of Dayton's Jenni Rossi was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Performer of the Week. The award was based off her record-breaking performance this past weekend. 
 
Rossi broke the University of Dayton's all-time record for shot put with a mark of 15.03-meters at the 2017 All-Ohio Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Cincinnati last weekend. The Middletown, Ohio, native overtook Jodi Borges' record that has stood since 2000. 

The Flyers are back in action this Saturday, April 22 at the Illinois Twilight in Champaign, Ill.
