#UDWXC Heads To Wisconsin For Pre-Nationals

Final Tuneup For The Flyers Before Championship Season

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's cross country team will compete against some of the nation's top-ranked teams this Saturday, Oct. 13 at the 2018 NCAA Pre-National Cross Country Meet hosted by the University of Wisconsin at Zimmer Championship Course.
 

The Flyers are set to compete in the seeded Cardinal Race which will begin at 11 a.m. ET Saturday.  The Flyers will be racing against,  Arizona State, Belmont, Cal Poly, California, Campbell, Central Michigan, Colorado (11), Colorado State (9), Duke, Furman, Georgia, Gonzaga, Hofstra, Idaho State, Iowa, Kansas, Lamar, Michigan (20), NC State (26), Northern Arizona (1), Ole Miss (22), Oregon (13), Richmond, SE Missouri State, South Dakota State, Southern Utah (15), Stanford (5), UMass Lowell, Utah State, Utah Valley, William and Mary, Wisconsin (3), Wyoming, Yale, and Youngstown State. 

Dayton enters the weekend at No. 12 in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Great Lakes Region poll.

Dayton is coming off a 13th place finish at the 63rd Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Sept. 28. This meet brought a number of personal records for the Flyers as well as all-time Top 25 at UD rankings for Allison Triskett and Kelly Wilker. At this meet, senior Emily Borcher's performance broke the University of Dayton women's cross country all-time 5k record with a time of 17:16.9.
