NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – University of Dayton freshmen
Katie Miller and
Emily Sreenan were named to the 2018 Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country All-Rookie Team which consist of the top seven women's freshmen finishers at this past weekend's A-10 Cross Country Championship.
Miller was Dayton's top freshman to finish, crossing the line in 18:24.5. Sreenan was not far behind in 18:31.2. Both registered PRs and both scored in Dayton's runner-up finish at the 2018 A-10 Championship.
"Katie and Emily have had a stellar freshman season for us. They adjusted well to the collegiate training lifestyle. Each week they worked hard to improve and move up the team ranks," said head coach
Jason Ordway. "I'm excited to see what the future holds for these two!"
