KANSAS CITY – The United Soccer Coaches, formerly the NSCAA, announced their Team Academic Award winners and recognized the University of Dayton men's program.

There were 773 total teams honored, 289 on the men's side and 484 on the women's side. Dayton was one of 191 schools that had both programs listed as recipients.

In order to receive team academic award honors, a program must achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2017-18 academic year.

This marks the 13^th straight year the Flyers have received this award under head coach Dennis Currier.

Dayton returns to action this Saturday at home against Davidson.
