KANSAS CITY – The United Soccer Coaches Association released its yearly awards and recognized the University of Dayton women's soccer program with the Team Academic Award.

The Flyers have earned the recognition 17 times, including for 10 consecutive seasons.

To receive the honor, the team has to record a team GPA of 3.0 or above. The UD men's and women's teams both earned the recognition, one of 215 schools to do so this year.

Years Dayton women's soccer has been recognized with United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award honors: 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
