DAYTON – The Dayton Business Journal announced their Forty Under 40 Award winners for 2018 and selected University of Dayton women's basketball head coach
Shauna Green as a recipient.
In just two seasons as the helm of the Flyers, Green has led Dayton to three Atlantic 10 titles, two in the regular season and one in the tournament, including this year's A-10 regular season championship. The Flyers have made two NCAA Tournaments and recorded 45 wins in two years. UD highlighted this season with a 16-game winning streak, the second longest in program history.
Coach Green was named the WBCA National Rookie Coach of the Year in 2017 as well before picking up Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year honors in 2018.
The Forty Under 40 Awards are given to industry leaders in a variety of areas that have been examples of success and development in the city of Dayton. Previous award winners include Dayton Athletics Director
Neil Sullivan.
An awards banquet will be held this summer in Dayton recognizing all the honorees.
