#DaytonMBB Announces Roster Updates

DAYTON – University of Dayton men's basketball coach Anthony Grant announced two players, Kostas Antetokounmpo and Matej Svoboda, will pursue professional basketball and not return to the University of Dayton. Another two, John Crosby and Jordan Pierce, will transfer.

Antetokounmpo and Svoboda each have informed Grant that they desire to pursue a professional basketball career, and will not return to school.

Antetokounmpo, a redshirt freshman, played in 29 games, starting six. He averaged 15.1 minutes, 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds a game. Svoboda played in 28 games, averaging 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds off the bench in his only season at Dayton.

Crosby and Pierce have been given their release and are pursuing transferring to another school. Crosby started nine of the first 12 games of the season and played in 26 overall. The junior averaged 14.7 minutes, 4.1 points and 1.9 assists per game. Pierce, a freshman, saw action in two games with one rebound.
