The University of Dayton baseball team is set to host Wright State on Wednesday, March 28 at 3 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. at Woerner Field. The game was originally scheduled for March 10, but was rescheduled due to poor weather. It will be the second time the Flyers and Raiders have squared off this season, as the two teams played on March 11 at Nischwitz Stadium in Fairborn, Ohio, which Wright State won by a 7-3 margin.
Â
Wright State will enter the game with a 13-9 record after being shutout against Xavier earlier on Tuesday by a score of 2-0, while Dayton owns a 6-13 record heading into the contest. The Flyers are coming off a 1-2 weekend in a three-game series against USC Upstate that included a dramatic 6-5 win on Friday following a four-run ninth inning rally.
