The University of Dayton women's basketball team had another historic season this past year with numerous individual and team accomplishments.

The Flyers finished the season with a 23-7 record overall, an Atlantic 10 regular season championship, and their 11
th straight postseason appearance, earning a berth in the 2018 NCAA Division I tournament. UD also was 15-1 in A-10 games and 12-1 at home.

- Alex Harris: Named to A-10 Preseason All-Defensive Team
- Jenna Burdette: Named First Team All-Conference, Named Second Team Academic All-District in Division I District 5, Named A-10 Player Of The Week twice. Became the 25th Flyer to reach the 1,000 point mark, Named to the A-10 Preseason First Team All-Conference, Named College Sports Madness A-10 Player of the Week on Jan. 29
- Lauren Cannatelli: Named Second Team Academic All-District in Division I District 5,
- JaVonna Layfield: Named Second Team All-Conference, Named A-10 Co-Player Of The Week 11/13/2018, Named MVP and All- Tournament team at Maine Tip-Off Tournament
- Jayla Scaife: Named Second Team All-Conference, Named All-Tournament Team in Maine Tip-Off Tournament, Named College Sports Madness Player of the Week on Jan. 8, 2018
- Shauna Green: Forty Under 40 Award winner, 2018 Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year

Key statistics:
- Lauren Cannatelli set a school record with 10 made three pointers
- Lauren Cannatelli set a single season school record with 83 made three-pointers and is third all-time with 197 made threes
- JaVonna Layfield broke single season record for rebounds with 378, passing Hall of Famer Ann Meyers who set the previous mark in 1976-77. She ranked fourth in the NCAA with 12.9 rebounds per game and third in defensive rebounds per game.
- Team was 10th in the NCAA in three-point field goal percentage with 38.6 mark
- Team averaged 30.9 defensive rebounds per game which was first in the A-10 and third in NCAA. The Flyers ranked ninth in total rebounds.
- Team ranked 16th in the nation in field goal percentage defense.
- Burdette moved to fourth in career assists with 481 and to third for assist-to-turnover ratio with 1.33
- Burdette moved to 12th in all time scoring leader at UD with 1,344 points
- Burdette ranked eighth in the country and led the A-10 in three point field goal percentage
- Layfield moved to seventh in career rebounds with 831 and second in offensive rebounds with 121
- Layfield ranked ninth in the nation with 19 double-doubles on the season
- Harris moved to fifth in career blocks with 110 in just 62 games
- Team won 16 games in a row, the second best mark in program history – Ran from Dec. 21, 2017 to Feb. 24, 2018
