About VS. Cancer and Organization History
"Vs. Cancer is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to funding live-saving childhood cancer efforts to help children with cancer live healthier, happier lives. Founder Chase Jones experienced childhood cancer first-hand as an eighteen-year-old college freshman, when he was diagnosed with a Stage IV brain tumor. As a baseball player at the University of North Carolina, his team rallied around him during treatment and began raising funds to support their local hospital. Jones has been cancer free for 10 years and attests his status to a byproduct of national research and community help."
