NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its end-of-season awards for men's soccer and recognized University of Dayton senior midfielder
Kingsford Adjei.
The Ghana native earned First Team All-Conference honors for the third straight season after earning A-10 Midfielder of the Year recognition the past two years as well.
In 15 starts this season, Adjei led the Flyers with 13 points on five goals and three assists, while leading the team in shots and shots on goal. He was named a Senior CLASS Award Top 30 candidate and has earned all-region honors the past two seasons.
"King has been one of our most productive midfielders in Dayton's history scoring 21 goals and adding 12 assists in 36 games," said head coach
Dennis Currier. "He played a large role in our A-10 league title this past spring. King received many accolades both on the field and in the classroom. We are excited to see him move into the next level as a professional player."
The Flyers earned a spot in the A-10 Championship field this season after going 3-4-1 in A-10 play and finished the year 6-9-3 overall.
