Jason Ordway Adds 9 To Women's Cross Country And Track & Field

DAYTON – University of Dayton director of cross country/track & field Jason Ordway has announced the addition of nine student-athletes.

Abby Brennan, Chante' Clinkscale, Kaira Granger, Kelly McCloughan, Hannah Moulton, Emilee Pham, Jayla Pruitt, Lauren Santiago, and Justine Smith have all committed to joining UD next season.

"I am very excited to welcome our 2021 class of recruits to the Flyer Family. We are getting a wealth of talent to key event areas and shoring up our numbers by adding depth to others," said Ordway. "While we have many new faces joining our squad, the desire to compete at a high level and become leaders athletically, academically, and socially remains our top priority. To see such a wonderful group of rising stars come together to join that mindset is very important to our continued success for this year and the years to come."

The following student-athletes have committed for women's cross country, as well as indoor and outdoor track:

Hannah Moulton – Oakwood, Ohio | Oakwood High School
"Hannah Moulton is a local talent from Oakwood High School that has had a very nice breakthrough senior season. I can only imagine how well she will develop when she learns from and grows with her teammates here. We are looking for her to make an instant impact the moment she steps on campus." – Coach Ordway

Justine Smith – Hilliard, Ohio | Hilliard Davidson High School
"Justine Smith comes to us from Hilliard Davidson High School, a very successful high school program that we have done very well with in current and previous student-athletes. She is a true team player and is ready to work to rise the ranks and be a contributor for us in many ways. She has shown great resilience in her training and development and we will looking to continue her positive treads over the course of her career." – Coach Ordway

Lauren Santiago – Amsterdam, N.Y. | Amsterdam High School | Sacred Heart University

- Competed for two seasons at Sacred Heart University

Kaira Granger – Bedford Heights, Ohio | Bedford High School

Kelly McCloughan – Geneva, Ill. | Geneva Community High School

Jayla Pruitt – Louisville, Ky. | Shelby County High School

- Competed in track for 4 seasons in: Triple and Long jump

- Four-time qualifier and twice competed at the USATF & AAU Junior Olympics in Triple Jump, Long Jump, and Hurdles

- Two-time Second Team Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference
- President's List
- Earned A.S. at Southern State Community College
- Also trained with Queen City Vault Academy and Buckeye Pole Vault Academy
- Also competed on the Wilmington tennis team, earning First Team all-conference honors twice and named Third Team all-area
- Tennis team captain
